snorkeling at Vilarrube
Vilarrube again, it was around 28 C a few days ago so we headed for the beach after school as I was on holiday from work and the boys tried out their new snorkels, at high tide there are some lovely little flooded creeks just right for being a boy learning to snorkel when the water is still a touch too cold for dad to want to do rescues.
There's where we sat
and where they snorkeled
and what they found complete with the council strimmer men strimming on the soundtrack ah well.

Fantastic snorkelling boys!!!!! was that a crab in the net???!!! Villarrube is rather beautiful! Lots of bright beautiful flowers too :) cant wait to see the garden in full flower again :)
ReplyDeleteThe snorkeling technique is coming along well it was a real crab there are loads of them there just now and they make good eating apparently although not my idea of a nice snack and you need a licence to catch them. There are plenty of flowers on their way and loads of veg too we might have over planted in the seed department I had to plant 18 globe artichokes yesterday they grow big that was a lot of land used up and we have about 40 tiny chilli plants two kinds of habaneros and some jalepenos too, and loads of sweet peppers, prob about 40 seedlings of various squashes they will take up loads of room, heaps of tomatoes aubergines, blue Hopi maize and ordinary maize and loads of other stuff - need to do a lot of digging tomorrow.
